Hey I added a new feature to the message board. If you are typing a message and you say something like "Hey go to homestarrunner.com." it will automatically appear as a link. Same thing with georgebush@whitehouse.gov. Sometimes it will happen with this though...hmm.
Anyone really good with Regular Expressions? |

Dan,
You may want to alter the URL regexp such that it looks for (1) only valid TLDs and (2) no adjacent periods.
$([a-zA-Z]{1,}.){1,}.[com|edu|org|net]^
That's a very very bastardized regexp that would never work in any language on any OS, but you get the idea.

FromNZ,
Thanks for the tip. I'm trying to avoid specifying TLDs as there are lots of them besides the standard com/edu/org/net such as info/biz/ca/to/. Too many to mention.
I will definatly change it to look for no adjacent periods. I'll post my regexp as soon as I modify it.

Ah, yes... TLDs offer too much protection from /orgbutter, as they do not quarrel with feces. Try to shallow out the yghtdf, or else it could flux the popacap and that would lead to a random math-like equation, such as this... 40+62=4poomsreg/(randomsymbol)4ourty6dotdot
As you can see, we all need to tighten our /net properties! LMAO!
i've gone too far....
